Emilio Domingo, Offset Senior Designer

An accomplished wine and spirits designer with a global perspective, Emilio brings a distinctive insider/outsider approach to his design work at Offset as a key member of our brand studio team.

For the past several years, Emilio has specialized in brand development and packaging for the wine and spirits industries, working both domestically and abroad. Emilio spent his formative years at Auston Design in Emeryville, CA, focused on wine and spirits projects that ranged from small family-owned brands to industry giants like Constellation and Diageo.

After his stint at Auston Design, he was hired by Co-Partnership, a boutique branding and packaging studio based in Sydney, Australia. The international move allowed him to broaden his perspective and skill set by immersing himself in the wine and spirits industries in Australian, New Zealand, and Asia. During his time there, he also had the opportunity to work for Landor Associates (the world’s largest brand agency) and other Sydney-based boutique agencies. Emilio eventually returned home to the Bay Area and worked variously for Olio Studio, Kimpton Hotel Group, and as an in-house designer for Method cleaning products. Offset was thrilled to welcome Emilio to our team in 2020.

Emilio’s design approach is informed by his experiences out in the world, where design and visual forms intersect with the sights and sounds of the built environment and across communities and cultures. He’s inspired by not only meticulously crafted design systems, but also DIY fliers, ephemera, and hand-made signage. Outside of design, Emilio loves music and art, and his dog Otis. He lives in San Francisco.

At Offset, Emilio takes pride in Offset’s ethos of not having a particular studio style but doing what is strategically appropriate for each project. This is evidenced by Emilios contributions across a range of packaging styles for Vida Valiente, Salty Goats, Terre et Sang, Diamond & Key, and others.
