Onboarding breaks ground for our relationship and lays the foundation for your success. In addition to the customary data transfer, account setup and platform training, Offset Commerce Onboarding includes a deep dive into your business. The better we understand the ins and outs of your operations, the better we can guide your use of Offset Commerce to meet your goals and help you push the bar even higher.

Our fees may appear slightly higher than some of our competitors. However, once you factor in the cost of various third-party plug-ins required by other platforms and the cost of an external CMS system, hosting, etc, the all-in price for using our platform is usually comparable or more affordable. We also strongly recommend that anyone considering a new commerce platform look deeply into the nuances of third-party credit card processing. These fees are often oversimplified during the sales process but later add up to be higher than expected.
The Onboarding and transaction fees are generally the only costs you’ll pay Offset Commerce. However, there may be third-party provider expenses to run your website and commerce that you’ll want to factor in. For example, you might need a full website. We can help or we can provide a referral.
Some other standard costs will include your email marketing campaigns, website hosting, POS card readers, and of course any additional third party software you might use to support your DTC sales. Your Offset Commerce Onboarding fee includes 1-year of personal ‘deskside’ support, but custom features, technical work, and premium support do incur additional expenses. We can talk about your possible needs for advanced services upfront, so nothing will ever come as a surprise.
Additional fees required for international cards and currency conversion. 1% + .30 cents for cross-border transactions. If currency conversion is required, an additional 1% fee will apply.
We have a deep integration with Stripe, the world’s leading payment company. The third-party Stripe fees are: 2.9% / 3.5% + 30¢ Split flat rate credit card processing fees for Visa, Mastercard, Discover (2.9%) and American Express (3.5%). For high-volume clients direct contracts with Stripe are supported.
