What’s new for Offset in 2022
2021 was an incredible year of growth and change for our team.
We’ve unified everything we do under Offset.
Through much company self-reflection and client feedback, we’ve determined that operating under two distinct brands undermines our integrated approach and the value we deliver. For this reason, everything we do will now be under one name: Offset. Perhaps the most tangible difference is that our commerce platform Figure will become (surprise!) Offset Commerce. This change reinforces publicly what has always made our company different behind the scenes: the unification of design and technology and the exponential power the combination can bring to wine businesses invested in selling directly to their customers with keen attention to brand.
We’re now a multidisciplinary team of 20.
We’ve doubled over the last year! Our new team members include experienced developers, designers, project managers, strategists, and marketers. What this means for our clients is that we don’t just have individuals offering their expertise – we now have complete teams in tech, design, production, account success, and strategy for more effective and efficient results.
Offset Commerce is rolling out in beta.
For the last year, our dedicated product team has been hard at work on a fourth version of our commerce platform. Version 4 – which formally unveils the Offset Commerce name – encapsulates what sets us apart: great design and smart technology built specifically for the nuanced needs of the wine industry.
Drawing upon over a decade of use, feedback, and learning from our diverse client base of incredible wineries and retailers, Offset Commerce v4 features a brand new user interface that focuses on ease-of-use, consistency, and scalability. We’ve rethought every aspect of the design down to the smallest button while improving workflows. The result is a snappier, smarter commerce product that’ll only keep getting better.
If you’re curious to dive deeper into our evolution, the new Offset website is a treasure trove of our offerings, client work, and perspectives on design and technology.
Speaking of our perspective – we’ve long shared our learnings and opinions with clients one-on-one, now we’re making our thinking public with regular articles tackling both the big picture questions and nuts and bolts of strategy, design, technology, and their nuances for the wine industry. Here are a few samples:
As always, please reach out if there is any way that we can further support your efforts or if you have questions about our ongoing evolution.
We look forward to connecting again soon!
